Motordrome Announes 2010 Schedule Date Posted: 2/5/2010 (Smithton Pa) Lasky Motorsports Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the 2010 race schedule for Motordrome Speedway. Building on the best elements of the 2009 schedule and adding some new wrinkles should provide for a great summer of motorsports action in 2010. Returning for 2010 are four Half Price First Friday s , the popular $6 admission night, complete with a return of the ever popular Pyrotechnico intense fireworks displays. The season will also feature two 100 lap Late Model shows with features only for the remaining four Nascar race divisions. Crash-O-Rama returns for 2010. This new event last year drew rave reviews even though it ran on the worst weather weekend of September. The Sunday afternoon Enduro Series returns again with five events including Crash-O-Rama. The new wrinkle for 2010 is the scheduling of four Late Model Twin 25 shows. These twin feature nights will give competitors a chance to get in the maximum feature point nights that count towards the Nascar state championship. Ending the season will again be the Piney Lasky Fall Festival III. In only two years this event has begun to grow in stature as one of the premier season ending Late Model shows in the east. Unfortunately it took us much longer to get to this point than we had hoped for , stated promoter Stan Lasky, but we now have in place the partnerships that will help us continue operating the speedway well into the future . Friday nights in 2010 will once again be the night for great family entertainment at Motordrome Speedway. |
